In 2003, Kevin was quoted in the national print media with respect to a motion brought on behalf of two individuals including Lisa MacLeod - now the Ontario Minister of Children, Community and Social Services - in an effort to obtain intervenor status in the legal proceeding commenced by David Orchard et al against Peter MacKay related to the merger of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada with the Canadian Alliance Party.
