On January 13, 1998 Kevin was quoted extensively in the national print media related to an action commenced by Lorraine Segato and other members of the music group Parachute Club against McCain Foods and EMI Music Publishing.  The action was ultimately settled by the payment of a monetary sum to the members of the band.  In addition, the members of Parachute Club were able to acquire their music publishing.
